Are you in Stockholm hoping to see the Scandinavian winter and the only thing in sight is the slush in the city center?

If that's the case, join us to discover Sweden’s Winterland just outside of the city.

Let’s admire the nicest frozen lakes the region surrounding the south of Sweden has to offer between mid-December and March. It is on those very lakes that we can do one of the most common winter sports in Sweden: ice skating. During the season, these lakes provide us with the clearest ice that allows us to skate quietly on the lake while feeling the sound of nature around us. Hearing the screeching of your blades on the ice is an unexpected and magical sound that is unique to the activity.

Departure by minivan at 07.00 sharp. We have quite a ride ahead of us so better leave when dark to enjoy most of the sunlight on the ice. We will stop en route to the first lake and see how good the ice is. Since the ice is changing day to day, depending on the temperature, wind, and snowfall, your guide will bring you to the best spot.

For your safety, all the tours start with a safety and technique briefing. Then we get down to work and see how comfortable you are on the skates, finishing the training with a little balance challenge. Beginner or not, by the end of the day you will be able to feel that special thrill that is to slide across deep frozen lakes. After a few hours of skating, we have a lunch break where we cook over the fire and prepare by your guide, a perfect way to warm up and restore energy.

If the conditions are good that day, we will continue skating in the afternoon. At sunset, we will enjoy a Swedish Fika with a cup of coffee and biscuits before heading back to the car.

Il est temps pour vous de vous réchauffer dans la voiture tout en vous rendant à notre Bed and Breakfast où nous passerons la nuit.

Time to relax while your guide is gearing up to prepare you for a delicious and typical Swedish dinner.

Be free to explore the area surrounding the place, play cards together, or enjoy a beer in the living room.

Petit-déjeuner à 8 heures et préparation pour le patinage à 9 heures. Nous déciderons du meilleur endroit pour entrer sur la glace le matin même, votre guide le sait et vous dira tout ce que vous devez savoir.

Ice skating in the morning and lunch over a fire made out of wood at around noon. In the afternoon, you will still enjoy what’s left of the light to skate more before having to say goodbye to the wilderness and head back to Stockholm. Back to the office at around 18.00 with a head full of memories.
